Job Hunting Tips

Job search is a job

It makes sense to look upon finding your next employment as a job in its own right.
It often takes considerable time before the next job is landed. It is therefore important to pursue several paths in a structured way. Do not rely on one single job application, employer or approach. Do many different things simultaneously. Ask for help and follow many leads.

“Know thyself”

We take the view that ideally you should know what you want to do with your life before you go out to find employment. If you know what you want with your life, then it is much more easy to search for jobs. And when the right job is found it will come naturally – it will be a good fit with your life plan.

If you do not know what you want to do with your life then your search might be forced or unnatural.

We therefore recommend that you download our free “What do you want to do with your life?” workbook and do the
exercises in the book while you are working on finding your new employment.

Remember – there are millions of jobs out there, new jobs are created every day, and old positions need to be refilled. Your next job is out there.
